Star One Credit Union, the ninth largest credit union in the U.S., has begun offering Tyfone’s mobile financial services to its 89,000 members worldwide.
Star One members can now access mobile banking services, such as balance check, account history review, and funds transfers, as well as mobile ID authentication and NFC contactless payment technology. According to Tyfone, all of these features are built upon the company’s u4ia mobile financial services platform.

Mobile Remote Deposit Capture: Customers can their mobile phone’s onboard camera to photograph a check and remotely deposit it in real-time.
Rate Watch Alerts: This feature monitors loan, certificate and savings rates and alerts the customer via text message based on customized settings.
Fraud Monitoring and Analytics: Tyfone’s solution Integrates with Star One’s Guardian Analytics system to detect anomalies and immediately alert Star One of suspicious or fraudulent activity.
Star One Account Aggregation: Star One members can view and manage multiple accounts in a single mobile banking session.
