Stanley Healthcare Solutions, a division of Stanley Black & Decker, announced the acquisition of AeroScout, a provider in real-time location systems (RTLS) for healthcare and industrial customers. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, other than the two companies will work to develop advanced solutions that enhance quality, safety and efficiency of patient care to provide better outcomes. Stanley Healthcare Solutions serves more than 15,000 healthcare organizations, providing patient and resident safety solutions, storage and supply chain solutions, and Transformational Lean offerings.
