SMARTRAC has expanded its product portfolio of white contactless ISO cards with the announcement of the new CISO FRAM card.

The CISO FRAM card operates at 13.56 MHz and offers a variety of features, including a memory capacity of 2 Kbytes, 64-bit UID, high-speed data transmission and reception, anti-collision function, anti-theft (EAS) command, FRAM memory data protection and data retention of 10 years.

Also, due to its ferroelectric characteristics, the card withstands radiation sterilization processes making it a solution for access control applications in medical environments and the health care sector. The cards can be processed with common card printers and readers. Compliance with ISO/IEC 15693 standards also ensures integration into existing systems.

The new CISO FRAM card has been developed based on the company’s CISO product family which is available in low and high frequency and is optimized for access control, loyalty and e-commerce applications.
