DAILY RFID has released a SD RFID card reader that essentially transforms a smart phone or PDA into a portable high frequency RFID reader.

The 13.56 MHz RFID reader can scan various types of high frequency RFID tags, and collect information as well.

Information can be transferred via Wi-Fi, GPRS or Bluetooth. It is compatible with devices running Microsoft Pocket PC 2002/2003, Windows Mobile 5.0/6.0, Palm OS4.1 or LINUX operating systems.

The SD RFID card reader allows these smart phones and PDA devices to receive RFID tag information for back end processing without any internal hardware change. It can be used for logistics, parcel tracking, ticket management, warehouse management, contactless or cashless payment.
