Rabobank adds two-factor authentication for ANZ customers

Rabobank Australia and New Zealand is now offering its customer two-factor secure authentication services for online transactions.

ComputerWorld.com reports the bank has signed a deal with U.S.-based security company ThreatMetrix for the TrustDefender Client product. This solution uses two-factor authentication tokens to reduce the risk of malware infections upon login to the accounts portion of the bank’s website.

Rabobank chose this service to improve security for its rural customers who live in remote areas of their respective countries. These clients can download TrustDefenderClient for free.
