Zebra Technologies has chosen QNX Software Systems and its QNX Neutrino Realtime Operating System as the standard software platform for Zebra’s portfolio of prints.

The first Zebra product line set to feature the QNX Neutrino RTOS is the new QLn mobile print series designed for the retail and health care industries. It features a variety of capabilities, including Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, and an Ethernet connection option.

The Zebra QLnprinter helps reduce service time and maximizes printer uptime by enabling remote status collection and better device management, which delivers a greater return-on-investment.

QNX Neutrino RTOS helps customers dynamically upgrade modules, and introduce new features and enhancements to their products remotely in the field, without having to purchase new equipment and without costly downtime and system outages.
