Precision Dynamics, Intellitix showcases RFID technology at the International Music Festival Conference

Precision Dynamics Corporation (PDC), a developer in automatic wristband identification, and Intellitix, a provider of RFID solutions for live events, will showcase its RFID solutions designed to enhance guest experiences at the International Music Festival Conference (IMFCON).

Attendees will experience PDC’s Smart Band RFID Wristband System in an interactive, live demonstration with Intellitix’s access control system and social media technology. This innovative technology is designed to reduce admission lines, increase spending and better connect event planners to guests via social media.

An RFID chip containing a unique 16-character code is sealed inside each guest’s Smart Band. This identifying code programmed in each Smart Band deters counterfeiting and scalping, while providing peace of mind to promoters.

The code is then validated by the Intellitix system when the wristband-wearing person comes within proximity of an Intellitix entrance portal. Each portal has a throughput rate of more than 2,500 persons per hour. This reduces queuing times and allows guests to spend more time inside the venue focusing on performances and concessions.

Additionally, Intellitix and PDC’s RFID technology enables fans to link to Facebook to instantly share concert experiences with friends. Guests are able to sync their PDC Smart Band to their Facebook page and communicate online via Intellitix’ RFID-enabled Live Click Stations that can be installed near concert stages, or anywhere throughout an event.

The International Music Festival Conference (IMFCON) will take place December 2 to 4, at the Hyatt Regency in Austin, TX.
