Precise Biometrics launched a new smart casing for smartphones and tablets that incorporates an embedded fingerprint and smart card reader, allowing agencies and enterprises to enable high security through mobile access.

This Tactivo case works works with different applications, including Precise’s BioSecrets app, to securely store passwords and other sensitive information in an iPhone or iPad. This will enable companies to better support the Bring Your Own Device trend.

Precise will first launch Tactivo for iPhone 4S and iPhone 4. It has partnered with Flextronics to produce this product and the first shipments are currently underway. Ordering will commence this summer. After summer, Precise will release Tactivo for iPad.
