Poland’s Poznan Lawica Airport has awarded an access control and intrusion detection contract to Nedap to cover security in its terminals.

Nedap’s Security Management System AEOS will be implemented in the airport’s existing terminal and also in its new terminal, the fire department and the cargo terminal. Nedap’s Polish partner Atrem S.A. will install 120 card readers to provide controlled access for airport staff, contractors and visitors. The AEOS will interface with the airport’s existing Gemos security layer.

Poznan Lawica Airport can process approximately 880 passengers an hour and 1.5 million passengers a year.
