PervCom launches new security solution

20 July, 2009

PervCom, an India-based RFID technologies developer, has announced the launch of their new wireless security and surveillance system. Further, they are touting the system as being capable of closing any security holes that systems involving check points, CCTV and physical barriers such as fences leave open.

The system, called Wireless Infrared Intrusion Detection, utilizes infrared sensors located around a perimeter of a location in conjunction with a wireless locating system to track all known and approved personnel or vehicles.

The tracking is done via RFID tags issued to employees and visitors upon their entry into the location. Within this system, any unauthorized entries will then trigger an alarm.
