Novetta Solutions has announced the acquisition of biometric solutions and services specialist International Biometric Group.

Providing technology solutions to the national security sector Novetta is known for working with massive quantities of data.

The acquisition of IBG is expected to bolster Novetta’s identity intelligence, biometrics and virtual identity management efforts. IBG’s reputation as a provider of identity intelligence services and solutions— for both government and commercial clients— has been built over a 15-year period in the industry.

IBG has established a suite of solutions for identity intelligence, analysis platforms and technology databases. Additionally, the company has extensive experience in biometrics— most notably fingerprint, face and iris recognition.

Upon completion of the acquisition IBG will be known as IBG, A Novetta Solutions Company. The company will continue to be led by Raj Nanavati and Samir Nanavati.
