Global Enterprise Technologies Corp., a provider of passport and ID systems, announced its CP500 ID card printer has been selected as the photo ID printer for Phase 1 of the NATO TACTIC Program. The program will take advantage of the CP500’s combination of 600dpi printing capabilities and pigment ink for secure ID personalization.
Working with Creative Information Technology Inc. (CITI), the GET Group is supplying CP500 printers with built-in contact, contactless, and magnetic stripe encoding for the personalization of identity cards to be issued in Phase 1 of the NATO TACTIC program.
TACTIC will leverage CITI’s manageID and professional services to ensure that key in-theater mission-critical requirements are met.
GET Group’s CP500 is a desktop retransfer printer. The CP500 combines the forensics of 600dpi and solid pigment ink. The NATO TACTIC Program will take advantage of the CP500’s ability to produce a smart card in one step via its desktop solution.
