Lumidigm announced a partnership with Tiger IT Bangladesh Limited to bring a criminal identity solution that utilizes iris recognition and will also offer fingerprint recognition sensors from Lumidigm.

The Lumidigm solution that is being incorporated into the solution, which is being developed for the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) office in Bangladesh, is its multispectral Venus fingerprint sensors.

In addition to the introduction of the new biometric solution, the RAB office is receiving a database upgrade, training on the new systems and resources for data migration from the old to the new system, detecting and removing duplicate records and a biometric enrollment application.
