Leaked AT&T Galaxy Note specs feature NFC

SamMobile has received word that the AT&T Galaxy Note handset from Samsung will be equipped with NFC technology when it hits the U.S. this year.

According to an anonymous e-mail sent to SamMobile, the Galaxy Note will run on Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS and features a 5.29-inch WXGA Super AMOLED touch screen, WiFi and USB 2.0 connectivity, GPS and Face Recognition technology.

SamMobile says the Galaxy Note should hit U.S. stores in Q1 or Q2 of this year. The handset is currently available in Europe, but without NFC and with a slightly different design (pictured).
