Kollakorn, a provider of RFID technology solutions, announced the rollout of its passive RFID technology in Australia, after striking a deal with Haworth, according to Supply Chain Review.

Based in the United States, Haworth is a global designer and manufacturer of office furniture and seating. The trial will use Kollakorn RFID chips to streamline effectiveness in Haworth’s asset management and tracking services.

As part of the arrangement, Haworth has purchased a demonstration installation for its Sydney showroom to demonstrate the effectiveness of Kollakorn’s passive RFID technology in delivery asset management and tracking services.

Sealey added that the deal is only the first stage of a plan to roll out the RFID technology across the Australian market.
