Identification Systems Group (ISG) announced that its partners Datacard Group and Salamander Technologies have finished the integration of Salamander’s resourceMGR credentialing software with Datacard’s CD800 desktop card printer.
The solution enables one-pass smart card encoding and print personalization. Salamander’s resourceMGR product is part of its interTRAX line of smart cards designed for first responders and industrial safety workers.
The collaboration with Datacard enables for these credentials to be printed on the Datacard CD800 desktop card printer. Designed for high-volume print runs, the CD800 can print up to 220 full-color, one-sided cards per hour, or up to 165 two-sided cards per hour. Its modular design is flexible for adding field-upgradable features and encoding technologies.
The ISG integration allows Datacard to make inroads in the emergency management market.
