Innometriks Inc. will be showcasing Lumidigm’s multispectral imaging capabilities at the ASIS security convention.

Among the products it’s displaying and demonstrating will be the Innometriks Rhino reader. This authentication product uses Lumidigm’s fingerprint biometrics reading capabilities and can function in difficult weather and environments. The fingerprint sensors use multispectral imaging technology to read fingerprints on and below the skin, which provides better data points for reading and verifying users.

The Rhino reader also has a U.S. Government credential configuration that provides tiered authentication levels in accordance with the SP800-116 implementation guidelines. The reader is also FIPS 201-certified and TSA-approved.

The ASIS security convention will take place on Sept. 10 to 12 in Philadelphia.
