India: RFID Reduces Forgery and Resume Fraud

Straight out of Bangalore, the India Times reports: The nightmare of fake CVs may soon end for corporate India.

With varsities taking to RFID-tagged certificates and bar-coded marksheets to beat forgery and resume fraud, recruiters can now breathe easy.

The first significant step in this direction has been taken by the Hyderabad Central University (HCU), which has tied up with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) to introduce RFID chip-embedded degree certificates for its students.
