Offers Indala Customers Unparalleled Flexibility for New and Legacy Upgrade Applications

Indala Corporation announced today its highly-flexible EM SERIES of proximity card readers, which are available with two popular, industry-standard communications protocols for three separate options–26 or 40-bit Wiegand and ABA T2–in the same reader design.

For the first time, due to its open-protocol platform, legacy Indala EM reader customers, new EM reader customers, and companies using competitor products, can all benefit from the new Indala EM SERIES proximity readers. The Company’s readers can be retrofitted with any current EM-based system so customers don’t have to re-badge the system during an upgrade. Further, the Indala EM SERIES of readers is compatible with all EM-based cards and tags, including its own products.

“Now, any company is free to choose Indala’s industry-leading product quality and custom applications, no matter which protocol they desire,” noted Marc Freundlich, Indala president.

Flexible in its design as well as firmware options, Indala’s competitively-priced EM SERIES is offered in both wall-switch and mullion-mounting form styles and in two color choices, light gray and black.
