Identive launches new line of NFC stickers, magnets

Identive Group has added two new products to its line of consumer NFC tags: the NFC window sticker and the NFC magnet.

Designed for information pick-up, social media check-in and coupon applications, the NFC window sticker is a double-sided, high-resolution color NFC tag that, as the name suggests, can be adhered to the inside or outside of a store window.

In addition to NFC, the window sticker can also incorporate sequential colored QR Codes to both sides of the sticker, enabling retailers to personalize their tags with artwork to match their brands.

“By combining the power of NFC technology with our attractive stickers and magnetized NFC tags, Identive is offering a whole new way for future-minded retailers and business-savvy companies to communicate with their customers,” commented David Holmes, vice preisdent of Mobility & NFC Solutions for Identive.

Geared toward retailers, the NFC magnet can be used as a take-home ad that allows consumers to order food, redeem coupons, watch videos, and check in with a tap of their smart phone.

Based on Identive’s Tag On Metal (TOM) technology, the NFC magnet is less than 1 mm thick and comes with high definition full color printing, QR Codes and QR+.

According to Identive, these new products will be on display in several upcoming industry trade shows and conferences, including WIMA NFC in Monaco April 11-13, EuroID in Berlin April 24-26 and Cards & Payments in Asia, taking place in Singapore April 25-27.
