ID Card Group expands prox card, keyfob offerings

ID Card Group has announced it is expanding its inventory of proximity cards and keyfobs for contactless security.

The Calif.-based ID products provider says it is now offering new proximity card types, including the clamshell, keyfob, PVC adhesive patch and other ISO-compliant options from HID Global, Indala, Casi-Rusco, Keri System and Schlage.

Proximity cards, also known as prox cards or access control cards, are contactless ID cards or keyfobs containing programming that is read by a card reader to control and secure physical access to a site, facility, or building.

ID Card Group says that all proximity cards and keyfobs offered by the company integrate seamlessly with existing card printing and prox systems, and any card is easily customizable during ordering to meet each customer’s needs.
