ICTS International Expands Its IP@SS Integrated Passenger Security Solutions On Flights Between Newark and Amsterdam

NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Jan. 6, 2003–ICTS International N.V. (NASDAQ: ICTS), announced today that it had expanded its IP@SS (“Integrated Passenger Security Solutions”) operations for round-trip operations between Newark Liberty International Airport and Amsterdam Schiphol Airport on Continental Airlines.

The IP@SS system constitutes a “registered traveler” concept within which frame work a passenger is issued a contactless smartcard that will be utilized on the return flight thereby accelerating the security and check-in process.

The IP@SS system has been operating seamlessly at Newark Liberty International Airport for several months on Continental Airlines flights to Tel Aviv, Israel.

The IP@SS system is a second generation computerized evaluative platform integrating several innovative technological tools including an automated documents scanner, data base searches and analysis methodology including the APS system of ICTS, Biometrics Identification System and contactless smartcard technology.
