IC-Tag Solutions Inc., manufacturer of customizable RFID labels and tags, unveiled its first JumpStart Kit called the “IC-DEMO.” IC-DEMO enables end-users and resellers to explore applications like tracking IT assets — laptops, servers, etc. — identifying the location of valuable test equipment, and access control for security and membership management.

Based on IC-TAG’s UA1000i RFID appliance, with integrated middleware, engineers are able evaluate RFID and test application concepts and to get it up and running; no special software or consultants needed. IC-DEMO enables the ability to find out exactly how RFID will work and offers the ability experiment with applications to maximize the impact on the bottom line.

IC-TAG’s HyperSage and AnyHost software enables you to customize the data acquisition mode, timing, and data filtering. Test the read range at selectable power levels and see the impact of each RFID tag selection. All that is needed is the IC-DEMO and a laptop.

The IC-DEMO JumpStart Kit comes standard with a collection of tags spanning a variety of types, forms, and vendors including on-metal, low cost, and key FOD. IC-TAG’s Sample Pack also includes an assortment of inlays and various sizes of labels and tags so that the end-user can find the best applications that will work best for them.
