Honeywell Aerospace, a parts suppliers to Airbus and Boeing, has selected TegoView software to improve its supply chain processes and expedite its new RFID parts tagging program.

By using TegoView’s workflow, Honeywell will streamline its parts tagging process and assure data accuracy on RFID tags being attached to components through efficient database connectivity and defined templates that reduce user input errors.

The automation and accuracy of TegoView for writing and reading RFID tags on individual aircraft parts will offer Honeywell added value, not only for compliance but for improved supply chain processes.

Pre-formatted templates will guide workers through the process, while delivering 100 percent compliance with ATA Spec 2000, Chapter 9-5 and TDS 1.6 standards for tagging aircraft parts and systems.

Honeywell, working with systems integrator ID Integration, is rolling out its RFID tagging program across its aerospace organization. Stakeholders will be able to trace the progress of assets and access information stored on them throughout their lifecycle from manufacturing to maintenance.
