Based on its current growth in Latin America, HID Global will be expanding its presence in the region to offer secure identity solutions.

The company plans to achieve growth by hiring more staff in key regions, including Brazil, the Andean region, Central America, the Caribbean and Mexico. It also plans for some consolidation in vertical markets. The company also intends to explore stronger customer relationships and local partnerships.

HID plans to add new regional sales managers in Brazil and Mexico and offer an more comprehensive product line of secure identity products for physical and logical access, as well as secure government ID products.

HID says it has experienced strong growth in this region over the last three years, and has recently opened an office in Mexico City. It hopes this investment will lead to more growth and development.
