FIME, an independent consulting and testing services provider, has added mobile contactless services to its GlobalPlatform testing capabilities. This testing will verify that a UICC product meets the requirements of GlobalPlatform’s Contactless Services Specification.

FIME has GlobalPlatform approval to conduct tests on tools and lab services for UICC product compliance in accordance with GlobalPlatform Card Specification v2.2 Amendment C (Contactless Services). The GlobalPlatform organization sets the industry standards for the management of applications on secure chip technology and has recently added verification of lifecycle management functionality of contactless applications.

FIME has been a GlobalPlatform-qualified full service testing facility since July 2012. It provides test tools and lab services in Europe and Asia to confirm product compliance to GlobalPlatform UICC Configuration and GlobalPlatform Basic Financial Configuration.
