Telos ID, a developer of biometric technology solutions, has announced its Mobile Authentication and Authorization Control system, which has been in use at at FedExField for some time, has been expanded to include visitor management. FedExField is home of the Washington Redskins.
The access control system has been in place to help credential and authenticate the identities of the facility’s employees and contractors so that unauthorized personnel may not gain entry to sensitive areas or during times when the field is not open to the public.
The visitor management portion includes an initial verification process, a visitor is checked against watch lists and if clear, and then a temporary badge is issued to the individual. Badges are customizable by date and facility access.
The visitors system captures and logs detailed information to provide a complete access history.
