Contactless smart cards have found a home on college campuses for physical access control. But Santa Clara university in California is taking it a step further by using the cards for payments as well. Nirmal Palliyaguru, director of ACCESS and conferences at the university, spoke with Regarding ID Editor Zack Martin about the system and the future plans.
