Louisville, Ky.-based Electronic Verification Systems (EVS) has announced it’s planning to concentrate on providing fraud prevention and identity verification products for the FFIEC supplemental guidance to authentication in an Internet banking environment.

EVS plans to do this through its IdentiFlo Management Platform, which provides upfront identity verification as assurance that out-of-band authentication is accurately maintained.

Businesses and commercial banking institutions are urged to provide their customers with multi-factor authentication options, including out-of-band and out-of-wallet knowledge-based authentication.

EVS has structured its IdentiFlo Management Platform to enable a company to do a one-time online identity verification via a secure online portal. Adding on other EVS products like IdentiFraud Consumer and IdentiFraud+ allows companies to customize this portal to create a seamless transition for increased online security.
