First Data Corporation has received Discover certification for its Trusted Service Management (TSM) solution.

The qualification enables First Data to support financial institutions in the deployment of their NFC services on mobile devices using the Discover Zip contactless payments application.

Designed as a managed service model, First Data’s TSM solution features a single interface that gives financial institutions access to most major NFC-enabled mobile wallets, thus simplifying their entry into the mobile payments market, according to First Data.
