DigitalPersona Inc. has launched the next-generation version of its U.are.U Software Development Kits (SDKs). The new SDKs enable biometric authentication through easy integration to be able to offer high protection against voter and entitlement program fraud.

The system meets the requirements for making standards-based development tools, which provides for the expansion of fingerprint biometrics throughout civil ID and commercial applications, including voting and entitlement programs.

The new SDKs include U.are.U SDK 2.1.1 for Windows, Linus and Windows CE. The SDKs also include native implementation of 1:N identification and support ARM architectures.
