Destron Fearing announced the launch of two new RFID readers, FishTRACKER IS001 and FishTRACKER FS2020, and a new passive integrated transponder tag, FishID SST2.

The FishTRACKER IS001 RFID reader features low power consumption that supports small stream applications and remote locations. The reader is also configurable for various system applications and stores up to 8,500 tag numbers and 150 status reports.

The FishTRACKER FS2020 high speed RFID reader designed as a direct replacement for existing single channel transceivers/readers. It has the same functionality as current units and offers more power and tag memory (up to 15,900 tag numbers).

The FishID SST2 is a sixth generation Destron Fearing PIT tag that provides a 15% improvement over previous Destron Fearing tags in read-range and turn-on voltage from previous models. It features an optimized microchip and antenna technology for improved performance and RFID read range and rates.
