German-based test equipment manufacturer COMPRION GmbH has launched Spectro TP, a smart card conformance test that supports GlobalPlatform’s requirements for ETSI SWP/HCI test case execution.

The Spectro TP platform is a one-box product that covers ISO 7816, SWP/HCI, IC-USB contact-based cards and ISO 14443/NFC contactless cards. It will run tests for ETSI, 3GPP, 3GPP2 and GlobalPlatform but can also manage contactless and dual-interface card testing.

Spectro TP can run tests in real time, and it allows for “Test Case API,” which lets network operators, card and chip manufacturers run and manage their own types of testing via the platform. The system comes with advanced analog test capabilities for advanced signal configuration and it can be re-calibrated with the help of a certified calibration sheet.
