Codebench releases PACS SDK

Florida-based Codebench has released IDSync, a software development kit that enables automated provisioning and deprovisioning of users and credentials into a supported physical access control system.

The SDK works through a standardized Web services interface, and through a single connector, is compatible with over 25 physical access control systems.

Targeted to commercial and government enterprises, IDSync provides support for DESFire, proximity, PIV, PIV-I and CIV credentials. It contains a real-time API to enable human resource information systems, ID Management Systems and Card Management Systems to assign individual privileges before registering them with the physical access control system.

IDSync works with both PIV and non-PIV systems and as an option to Codebench’s PIVCheck Software Suite, it helps users transition to HSPD-12 or FIPS-201 compliance.
