Cloud server security provider CloudPassage has extended the capabilities of its Halo cloud security platform to cover cloud servers running Windows OS. The new release gives users the ability to manage servers in public and hybrid cloud environments and across multiple operating systems and cloud deployments.

This version of Halo also includes GhostPorts SMS-powered multi-factor authentication service, which allows customers to control access to administrative and other applications through an automated service.

Halo supports Windows 2008R1 and R2, RedHat Enterprise Linux, Fedora, CentOS, Debian, Ubuntu and Amazon Linus. It can run on any public or private cloud servers.

Halo for Windows is now available for all of of Halo’s subscription packages.
