The Chicago Public Schools has awarded a fingerprinting services contract to Accurate Biometrics, making this its fourth consecutive award. The contract will last for two years, with an option to renew for a third year.

Opting to go with a local company, the nation’s third largest school district will provide services that affect both students and faculty in providing safety measures across the system.

Accurate Biometrics specializes in livescan fingerprinting, electronic fingerprint capture and transmission services and has partnered with Chicago Public Schools since 2001. The school system has more than 404,000 students.
