The California Department of Insurance (CDI) has awarded a two-year contract to Chicago-based Accurate Biometrics to perform its livescan and cardscan fingerprint collection and transmission services.

As part of the agreement, Accurate Biometrics will provide fingerprinting services at three CDI testing facilities in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Sacramento. It will have additional fingerprint sites located near these CDI facilities to manage additional CDI licensing applicants.

Accurate Biometrics was also recently awarded a FBI Fingerprint Channeling Contract for fingerprint capture in use with criminal history background checks.
