Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, India will soon introduce the power of RFID technology in its central library to improve check-in and check-out time for books and other materials, as reported by The Times of India.

In addition to remedying preceding problems with long queue lines and shortages of supporting staff members, the new system will enhance and improve BBAU library security and inventory management by tracking the location of each and every item belonging to the library.

The system includes RFID tags and readers, which will gather data and track the location of books and other materials throughout the library, as well as sort them accordingly.
