AU10TIX Limited has announced the launch of its BOS (Back-Office Solution) product that helps companies, particularly online financial service providers, to automate some of the processing and authentication involved with customer-submitted ID image authentication.

The product is geared toward industries where regulations mandate the use of customer-submitted information, particularly digital photos or scans of ID documents. Customers use their own tools, such as smart phone cameras, digital cameras and home scanners, to create the documents, which they then e-mail, send or upload them through apps or web sites.

Although these documents aren’t necessarily high quality images, AU10TIX BOS can process and optimize them. It does this with new input screening filters, new algorithms and new policy engines.

The resulting product is designed to automate the image processing process. Several online service providers from various industries are using and field-testing the product.
