More than 90 Alzheimer’s patients received the VeriMed RFID implantable microchip last week as part of parent company VeriChip Corp.’s special community project, the company announced this morning.
Launched last week, Delray Beach, Fla., VeriChip’s Alzheimer’s Community Care project is a voluntary, two-year, 200-patient experiment that will evaluate the effectiveness of managing these patients, among other things.
